Uvod
Ovdje donosimo dosad neobjavljeni intervju s prof. dr. sc. Josipom Jurčevićem kao povijesni izvor i/ili građu. Razgovor je 2006. godine provela agencija Puls u sklopu istoimenoga projekta udruge Documenta, a njihov je tekst prof. Jurčević autorizirao 2007. godine. U okviru toga projekta 2010. godine objavljena je publikacija, koju potpisuju prof. dr. sc. Kruno Kadrov, prof. dr. sc. Dražen Lalić i voditeljica Documente Vesna Teršelič. U ovom opsežnom intervjuu mogu se pročitati iskustva, stavovi i promišljanja prof. Jurčevića o problemu suočavanja s prošlošću u modernome hrvatskom društvu, osobito u vezi s nasljeđem komunizma, privatizacijskom pljačkom te problemima žrtava i stradalnika hrvatskoga Domovinskog rata. Ta su iskustva predmet dugogodišnjih znanstvenih istraživanja prof. Jurčevića, o čemu je objavio niz radova i knjiga, a bio je i ekspertni svjedok na suđenjima za ratne zločine pred Međunarodnim kaznenim sudom za prostor bivše Jugoslavije (MKSJ, ICTY) u Haagu i sudovima u Republici Hrvatskoj. Intervju obuhvaća 50 kartica teksta, od kojih je u spomenutoj publikaciji Documente na stranicama 53. i 63. objavljena jedna i pol kartica teksta, i to u iznimno cenzuriranome obliku. Zbog svega navedenoga uredništvo časopisa Ban Dvor smatra važnim objaviti ovaj povijesni izvor u njegovom integralnom obliku.

Introduction
We present here a hitherto unpublished interview with Professor Josip Jurčević, PhD, as a historical source and/or source material. The interview was conducted in 2006 by the Puls agency as part of an eponymous project of Documenta, and its transcript was authorised by Professor Jurčević in 2007. Within the framework of that project, a publication was issued in 2010 and is credited to Professor Kruno Kadrov, PhD, Professor Dražen Lalić, PhD, and Vesna Teršelič, head of Documenta.
This extensive interview presents Professor Jurčević’s experiences, views, and reflections on the challenge of dealing with the past in modern Croatian society, particularly in relation to the legacy of communism, privatisation-related plunder, and the issues facing the victims and those who suffered in the Croatian War of Independence. These experiences have been the subject of Professor Jurčević’s long-standing scholarly research, on which he has published numerous articles and books. He also served as an expert witness in war-crimes trials before the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in The Hague and before courts in the Republic of Croatia.
The interview comprises 50 standard manuscript pages, of which one and a half standard manuscript pages were published in the aforementioned Documenta publication, on pages 53 and 63, and in an exceptionally censored form. In view of all the above, the editorial board of the Ban Dvor journal considers it important to publish this historical source in its entirety.
